Measuring Patio Furniture Slings
|
Over the years we've come to realize that there's a lot of confusion about
slings. We've tried various options to make it easier for our customers
to order new slings. Unfortunately, there are too many variables that can occur, so
trying to put a standard process in place hasn't really worked.
The biggest problem is in the measuring. Slings that are still on the chairs are
already stretched into place, so they cannot be measured accurately. Often they are torn, or have
been repaired several times, which makes it even more difficult to dertermine their original
size.
So we finally decided that the best way to give our customers slings
that are the correct size is to have them send a sample directly to the factory. We will
provide instructions and the address to send sample(s) to after you place your
order.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR SAMPLES TO US -- THEY MUST GO DIRECT TO THE FACTORY! ***
This will only cause a delay, as we have to
resend them for you

Two Types of Slings
Let's make sure we're speaking the same language when it comes to discussing slings. There are two basic
types of slings:
Seating Slings |
Cushion
Slings |
| Seating Slings are the type that you sit or lie on directly --
no cushion is used. They are made from a firmer fabric, always a grade B, and
come in many colors and patterns |
Cushion Slings are the type used to
support cushions that are used on the furniture. They are a grade A mesh fabric, and
come in a dozen or so solid colors |
