This may be a downside for the fire pit itself because you won’t be able to enjoy the scene on all sides because the chimney will definitely obstruct parts of the pit. On the other hand, on special instances where the city you reside in forbids burning open fire, you can use a portable fire pit according to Mahoney. It may be a temporary solution but it can still serve the main purpose of having a fire pit which is to warm up the outdoor atmosphere whenever needed.
